About Us
We track what tech actually costs in Nepal — and publish the specifications, comparisons and reviews you need before you walk into a shop.
Buying a phone, laptop or appliance in Nepal usually means checking three shops, scrolling two Facebook groups, and still not knowing whether the price you were quoted is fair. Global spec sites don’t carry Nepali prices, and local listings are often outdated or incomplete.
NepalTechHub exists to close that gap. Every product page brings together the current Nepal market price, full technical specifications, variant-wise pricing, and a plain-language verdict — in one place, for the Nepali market specifically.
How a price gets on this site
Pricing is the reason most people visit, so it’s worth being specific about where our numbers come from.
- Collect We record the official MRP from the brand’s Nepal launch or its authorized distributor, then check what retailers are actually charging.
- Verify Where a street price differs from the MRP, we cross-check it against more than one seller before publishing, and list both figures.
- Publish Each variant is listed separately, because an 8/128GB unit and a 12/256GB unit are not the same purchase. The date of the update is shown on the page.
- Re-check Prices in Nepal move with import duties, exchange rates and festive offers. Listings are revisited as the market shifts, and older pages are refreshed rather than left to go stale.
A note on accuracy: retail prices in Nepal vary by shop, city and season, and bargaining is normal. Treat our figures as an informed reference point for what a device should cost — not as a quotation. Always confirm the final price and warranty terms with the seller.
What you’ll find here
How we stay independent
A price comparison site is only useful if you can trust the numbers, so here is exactly how NepalTechHub is funded and what that does — and doesn’t — affect.
- Advertising. The site carries display ads. Advertisers have no say over which products we list, how we rank them, or what our reviews say.
- Affiliate and store links. Some links to retailers may earn us a small commission. This never changes the price you pay, and a commission is never a reason for a product to appear or rank higher.
- No paid placement. Rankings on pages like Best Phones by Budget are generated from stored prices and user ratings. They cannot be bought.
- Ratings come from readers. Star ratings are submitted by visitors, not by us or by brands. Where we add our own scoring, it is labelled as an editorial score.
Corrections
Prices change quickly and specifications occasionally get published with errors. If you spot a price that’s out of date or a spec that looks wrong, tell us — corrections are welcome and we’d rather fix a page than defend it. Email contact@nepaltechhub.com with the product name and, if you have one, a photo or link showing the correct information.
Who we are
NepalTechHub is an independent publication run from Kathmandu by a small team of writers and technology enthusiasts who follow the Nepali gadget market closely. We started it because the information we wanted as buyers — real Nepal prices, complete specs, honest comparisons — wasn’t collected anywhere in one place.
Articles are published under the name of the writer who produced them, and you can see everything an author has written from the byline on any post.
